Tony Washington is a writer who gives a voice to the average American citizen. His playful use of words paint pictures and tell stories that anyone can relate to. Born in Baltimore, MD, he did not start writing poetry seriously until his college years, hosting and performing at open mic nights.

Tony has been featured in Who’s Who in America and is the author of one other book, Refrigerator Poetry (April 2006). He is currently working on his second book, the beautiful blue, which is scheduled to be published in the spring of 2012.
